Monday, 28 November 2011 Hi, Joni Cousin Patrick here. I just found your blog and started reading it today. Very informative -- quite different from Ohio, I imagine. On Thanksgiving, I walked over to your dad's house (from David's) and sat and talked with him and Dianna for about a half-hour. He seems to have recovered well from his stroke. Every once in a while he'll have difficulty enunciating a word, but he's as sharp as ever and still has that famous sense of humor. Toni and Nikki had been there earlier but had gone home by the time I got there. Jackie did not make it to Greensburg this year. I did see Josh and his friend Grant, who are living with Jack & Dianna for now but will hopefully get an apartment soon. Aunt Peg is good. Hard of hearing but also still very sharp -- remembers things I've forgotten. We also picked up Aunt Mary at the assisted living home and brought her to Aunt Peg's house on Friday. Mary is very forgetful but always quite pleasant and appreciative. When I took her back to the home she told the woman at the front desk that she had a WONDERFUL day with us. Then she said "Thank you, David" to me before going up to her room. She looks so much like Mum even though she's now nine years older than Mum was when she died. Other people say that Aunt Peg looks like Mum, and that Jerry looks like Uncle Eddie, but I don't see it. Got to go now. If you have a minute and can send an email, I'd love to hear from you. LeonardPub@aol.com Take care. Pat
